If you’re new to Atlanta then you should know that the city is growing with what seems like junk food gourmet restaurants. To make you feel less bad about biting into a cheesy burger most restaurants will boast about the freshness and organicness of their produce and meat. I guess you can say we had a similar experience at Farm Burger. They serve grass-fed and hormone-free meat that is majorly sourced from local Georgia farmers and is made into juicy, scrumptious, and healthy’ish burgers.
The restaurant itself has a simple and basic layout in their ordering and seating. You place the order at the counter and the food will be brought to you when it’s ready. Easy. Now to the food. There are three categories of toppings and cheeses available for the price of free to $2 per gourmet topping. This can make an impact on how much your meal is but a basic burger price of $6.75 is not bad at all.
We ordered our burgers with FB fries that are topped with spicy garlic, herbs, and parmesan cheese. Even though the fries were liberally sprinkled with extras it gave good flavor to the fresh cut potato fries. Besides the regular stuff, I was really keen on trying the roasted garlic on my burger. I was imagining it to be chopped or spread like a creamy paste on my bread but instead there were whole roasted garlic cloves on my burger. I can’t lie, I was a little nervous to bite into just a clove of garlic like no big deal but when I did the roasted garlic clove melted into the burger and into each bite I took. We visited Farm Burger a few times and indulged in new items like the beer battered onion rings and the veggie quinoa burger.
You’re probably thinking I’m talking about the garlic more than the burger but for me that was an interesting find on my food, I even decided to recreate it here.
