Honey crystallized in jar? Place in hot water for 15 minutes. Do not put it in the microwave as it will alter the taste of honey.
Baking purposes: Honey is added to baked goods to absorb & retain moisture, since honey is sweeter you will need to use less honey. For 1 cup of sugar measure 1/2 cup or 3/4 cup of honey. For each cup of honey used, add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda & lower the oven temperature by 25 degrees. This will prevent over-browning.
Honey can get messy! Lightly spray utensil with vegetable cooking spray before measuring honey.
